Reza Pishghadam is a professor of English language education at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with a specialization in language education psychology. His theories in the fields of emotioncy, cultuling and emo-sensory intelligence are well-known. He has more than 100 articles and 15 books in various fields of language, educational psychology, cultural studies and sociolinguistics. He is a member of the National Elite Foundation and a member of the Commission on Foreign Languages and Literatures of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, who was the top researcher of the country in 2010, the distinguished professor of the University Foundation of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2014, the top professor of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2017 and recognized as an outstanding educational professor of the country in 2020. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Society, Culture and Language, editor-in-chief and managing director of the Journal of Language and Translation Studies and founder of the Pishghadam Language Testing and Talent Identification Unit based at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and was vice president for academic affairs at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad from 2018 to 2022.
