The question that arises is whether traveling theory stays as it is or it undergoes some changes as a result of its move. Drawing on the historiography of translation, we investigated one of the most important philosophical discourses of the twentieth century in the West and Iran, namely Foucault’s discourse. We tried to discover which part of Foucault’s work or ideas was the focus of translators in the Reformist period, stretching from 1997 to 2004. To this end, all Persian translations of Foucault’s works, together with Persian translations about Foucault and original writings in periodicals were selected and their common themes were extracted. The findings of this study show that translators were the main actors in importing Foucault’s ideas to Iran. Also, criticizing power relationship was the main theme in the analyzed corpus. Given the fact that Foucault took a controversial stance on the Islamic revolution in the early years of the Islamic Revolution, this study addresses another question related to the issue of Foucault’s reception. Indeed, the paper examines whether translators of Foucault’s works translated his works regardless of his stance on the revolution. For this purpose, all translated and original texts as well as articles in periodicals (1997-2004) were analyzed. The main themes were extracted and tagged according to Foucault’s thought on power. The results indicate that translators were the main actors in this discourse, and Foucault’s thought served as a tool for translators to criticize social phenomena, and the critique of power has been the most frequent concept in all Foucault-related publications (i.e., translations, writings, and magazines).}, keywords = {Criticizing power relations,Foucault,The Reformist Discourse,Translators of Foucault’s Works,Islamic Revolution of Iran}, title_fa = {دریافت گفتمان فوکو در دورۀ اصلاحات با تکیه بر نقش ترجمه و مترجمان}, abstract_fa = {اندیشه‌ها و نظریّه‌ها همچون انسان‌ها سفر می‌کنند؛ آنها از فردی به فردی دیگر، از موقعیتی به موقعیتی دیگر و از زمان و مکانی به زمان و مکانی دیگر منتقل می‌شوند. سؤالی که مطرح می‌شود این است که وقتی نظریّه‌ای از زمان و مکانی به زمان و مکان دیگری سفر می‌کند، همان‌گونه که هست منتقل می‌شود یا اینکه تغییر می‌کند؟ در این مقاله در چارچوب حوزۀ پژوهشی تاریخ‌نگاری ترجمه، نحوۀ دریافت یکی از گفتمان‌های فلسفی مهم قرن بیستم در غرب و در ایران یعنی «گفتمان فوکو» پرداخته می‌شود؛ و این سؤال پاسخ داده ‌می‌شود که مترجمان فوکو در دورۀ اصلاحات بر کدام‌یک از آثار یا نظریّه‌های فوکو تأکید کرده‌اند و چرا؟ همچنین با توجّه به این‌که فوکو در سال‌های آغازین انقلاب اسلامی مواضع جنجال‌برانگیزی در مورد انقلاب ایران اتخاذ کرده است، این پژوهش به سؤال دیگری نیز می‌پردازد که با مسأله پذیرش فوکو مرتبط است و آن این‌که آیا مترجمان فوکو صرف‌نظر از موضع او نسبت به انقلاب اسلامی به ترجمه آثار وی پرداخته‌اند؟ به این منظور، تمامی متون ترجمه‌شده و تألیفی و نیز مقالات مندرج در نشریات دورۀ اصلاحات (۱۳۸۳-۱۳۷۶) را انتخاب کرده و مفاهیم اصلی آنها طبق دسته‌بندی مفهوم قدرت در اندیشه فوکو برچسب‌گذاری شده است. بررسی حاضر نشان داد که مترجمان کنشگران اصلی این گفتمان بوده‌اند و اندیشۀ فوکو به‌مثابۀ ابزاری در خدمت مترجمان بوده است تا پدیده‌های اجتماعی را نقد کنند و نیز در دورۀ مذکور، نقد قدرت پُربسامدترین مفهوم در تمامی آثار چاپی مرتبط با فوکو (ترجمه، تألیف و نشریات) بوده است.}, keywords_fa = {نقد قدرت,فوکو,گفتمان اصلاح‌طلب,مترجمان فوکو,انقلاب اسلامی ایران}, url = {https://jlts.um.ac.ir/article_40346.html}, eprint = {https://jlts.um.ac.ir/article_40346_c15a2d88daf07891281018d53838e996.pdf} }
