چکیده

هدف پژوهش پیش رو بررسی ترجیح بینندگان غربی به زیرنویس نام غذاها در فیلم‌های ایرانی است. بدین‌منظور، پیکره‌ای شامل 30 فیلم ایرانی و زیرنویس رسمی انگلیسی آن‌ها برای استخراج نام غذاها و تکنیک ترجمه به‌کاررفته بررسی شد. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌های پژوهش، پرسش‌نامه‌ای طراحی شد و در اختیار تعداد 223 بینندة غربی قرار گرفت. نظریة ناپیدایی ونوتی (1995/2008) و رویکردهای غرابت‌گرا و بومی‌گرای وی برای تحلیل نظر بینندگان به‌کار رفت. نتایج به‌دست‌آمده نشان‌دهندة رویکردی بومی‌گرا در زیرنویس نام غذاها در فیلم‌های ایرانی است. در مقابل، نتایج پژوهش حاکی از این است که بینندگان غربی رویکرد غرابت‌گرا در ترجمة نام غذاها در زیرنویس فیلم‌های ایرانی را ترجیح می‌دهند. با توجه به تحلیل نتایج، ترجمه‌ای غرابت‌گرا برای ترجمه نام غذاها در زیرنویس فیلم‌های ایرانی پیشنهاد می‌شود. این نوع رویکرد نه‌تنها با ترجیح بینندة غربی هم‌راستاست و انتظار وی را برآورده می‌کند، بلکه با حفظ تصویری از هویت ملی و فرهنگی ایرانی، می‌تواند به گفتمان دوطرفة فرهنگی در روابط نامتوازن قدرت در جوامع امروز تبدیل شود.
